We created Connaught Real Estate Finance to meet the mezzanine financing needs of the small to mid-sized land developer and homebuilder. The company’s team consists of seasoned real estate experts with expertise in real estate development, construction, brokerage, finance and nearly 25 years combined experience specifically in the mezzanine finance industry. Our principal objective is to provide mezzanine finance to projects that require $10 million or less of equity capital to fill the ‘gap’ after the senior lender and before borrower equity.

Connaught Real Estate Finance’s expertise allows our developer and homebuilding clients to partner with a knowledgeable and efficient source of mezzanine capital and leverage their returns while also increasing their liquidity. As a result, our clients are able to meet their equity requirements and ensure adequate capital to complete their residential real estate projects.

Under the Connaught Real Estate Finance umbrella, the Connaught Land Opportunity Fund was created to capitalize on our expertise in increasing land value for sellers by advancing projects through the Municipal process and to target the growing need for creative land financing and deal structuring in the developer market.
