Connaught Real Estate Finance Program

Connaught Real Estate Finance's mezzanine loans help residential land developers and homebuilders bridge up to 80 percent of the gap between the total project funding requirements and the funds available from senior lenders. Connaught Real Estate Finance works with borrowers that have already secured, or are in the process of securing an acquisition, development and construction loan from a senior lender.

Our role is to complete the capitalization so it becomes a three-tiered structure: senior lender funds in a first lien position, Connaught Real Estate Finance’s mezzanine loan in the second tier, and borrower equity in the third position. The result of this financing structure provides sufficient capital to complete the proposed residential project.
